Old interviews with Ray J about his past relationship with Kim Kardashian are making the rounds online again, and Ray J is not happy about it.
The blog Diary of a Hollywood Street King dug up an older interview Ray J did with radio personality Maxwell Billieon, in which he made personal remarks about Kim. We are not going to repeat them here. Kim Kardashian has not publicly commented on the interview.
TMZ reported that Ray J’s lawyer sent a cease and desist letter to Billieon, a former business partner, whom Ray J suspects of leaking the material. According to TMZ, the interviews were recorded about eight years ago for a book deal that was later cancelled. Ray J reportedly gave Billieon a deadline to explain why the material was posted without permission, or he plans to sue. TMZ did not report a response from Billieon.
It is not clear when, or whether, any part of the interview ever aired. For now, it looks like Ray J would prefer to keep the past in the past.
