A few weeks ago, Drake took to social media to show off his new personal airplane. The massive plane branded with his signature OVO owl and prayer hands, which boasts a greenish blue exterior and an interior complete with lounge areas is reportedly worth $200 million. What we didn’t know was, the plane was given to him, free of charge. According to TMZ, the Canadian based airline company Cargojet has partnered with the rapper, naming him a Brand Ambassador. In exchange for Drake flying around the world and flaunting pictures of the aircraft online, the rapper was able to obtain the aircraft without having to pay anything at all.
We get it, everyone isn’t a Drake Stan, but you can’t deny the rapper’s well-earned success. Celebrities are gifted with high priced items all the time for the free publicity, but a whole airplane means you are on a whole other level. Meanwhile, the rest of us should just be prepared to see a ton of pics and posts from the champagne papi showing off the “Air Drake” making us all want to get our money up.
