After closing out an $8.5 million deal at Coachella, The Weeknd was disappointed with the crowd’s energy on night three of Coachella.
In the video, The Weeknd says, “Are you trying to end your night right now?”
As reported, The Weeknd was able to be Sunday’s headliner on short notice after Kanye West pulled out without an excuse. On Sunday night, the crowd was lackluster, and the singer questioned if the night should end. On top of playing his recent album live Dawn FM for the first time, he also performed tracks from Starboy and Beauty Behind the Madness.
Fans also thought the crowd was too lowkey for it to be the Weeknd. One said the crowd was “disrespectful.”

However, one fan said that she was there for both performances, and the crowd was dead in general.
Some fans also commented that Coachella crowds don’t deserve Abel, The Weeknd’s real name.
