Back in November, Tekashi69 was indicted on federal charges, including racketeering, tied to the Nine Trey gang. Now, about two months later, TMZ reports that three associates of the Brooklyn rapper have been hit with federal indictments of their own.
According to TMZ, Kintea, Anthony and Demard were indicted in connection with the same incidents the rapper was charged over. Law enforcement sources told the outlet that Kintea was indicted after Tekashi69 sat down with investigators and identified him as the shooter in the Times Square incident involving Chief Keef. Those are claims from TMZ’s sources, and an indictment is an accusation, not a finding of guilt.
TMZ’s sources also said Kintea was allegedly paid for the shooting, which the outlet says took place sometime after a phone call in which Tekashi69 appeared to offer a payout to Chief Keef’s cousin. TMZ noted that video of the incident is still under investigation.
As of this report, authorities had not arrested Kintea. TMZ reported that Anthony is already in custody over the alleged kidnapping and assault of the rapper, and that Demard was arrested on Wednesday. No public response from the three men had been reported.
