Tia Kemp Mocks 50 Cent’s $6 Million Lawsuit Over His Son, Brings Up His 2015 Bankruptcy

Tia Kemp and 50 Cent

Tia Kemp is firing back at 50 Cent after the rapper filed a federal lawsuit seeking at least $6 million over alleged social media attacks against his 14-year-old son, Sire Jackson. The outspoken media personality responded in a heated TikTok video, mocking the rapper’s stage name, rejecting his financial demand, and bringing up the bankruptcy filing connected to his previous legal battle with another woman who shares a child with Rick Ross.

“Six million dollars?” Kemp questioned before calling the G-Unit mogul “15 cents.” She made it clear she had no intention of willingly handing over any money, saying she would rather die than give him even a fraction of a cent.

Kemp also accused 50 Cent of being unable to handle the same public criticism he has directed toward others. She argued that the rapper has spent years provoking people online but is now turning to the legal system after becoming the target of personal attacks.

She then brought up his financial and legal history, specifically referencing the lawsuit filed by Lastonia Leviston, who also shares a child with Rick Ross.

The dispute Kemp referenced dates back to 2009, when 50 Cent published an intimate video featuring Leviston and another man without her consent. The video became part of his longstanding feud with Ross, although Ross was not featured in the footage.

In July 2015, a New York jury awarded Leviston $5 million in damages after finding 50 Cent liable for violating her privacy. The jury later added another $2 million in punitive damages, bringing the total judgment to $7 million.

50 Cent filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection that same month, during the legal proceedings. In 2016, a bankruptcy judge approved a repayment plan under which Leviston agreed to accept $6 million. The bankruptcy also involved substantial debts connected to his other business dealings.

Kemp used that history to suggest that 50 Cent had already experienced the financial consequences of taking his feuds too far. Leviston’s successful case, however, was a separate privacy lawsuit, not a lawsuit filed by Kemp.

The latest legal battle began after 50 Cent mocked an alleged assault involving Kemp’s adult son with Rick Ross, William Roberts III. Kemp subsequently posted comments about Sire Jackson and his mother, Daphne Joy, including allegations concerning the teenager’s development and autism.

On October 26, 50 Cent filed a federal lawsuit in Los Angeles on behalf of Sire, alleging defamation, invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress. His attorneys accuse Kemp of making false, degrading statements about the minor and continuing to post about him after receiving a cease-and-desist letter.

The rapper also filed a separate petition in Florida seeking an injunction to prevent alleged cyberstalking and harassment of Sire.

While Kemp’s TikTok response makes clear that she rejects the legal pressure, her public statements do not establish a defense against the claims in court. The $6 million figure represents damages being sought, not an amount a judge has ordered Kemp to pay.
