Tiger Woods just scored a major win in the court case against his ex-girlfriend, who has accused the golfer of wrongfully evicting her and sexual harassment.

A judge has ruled that Erica Herman, who dated Woods for five years, must comply with a nondisclosure agreement she signed during their relationship. She filed a lawsuit against Woods in October 2022, claiming he unjustly kicked her out of his home after their breakup. According to Herman, his staff lured her from the mansion with a vacation, only to inform her she no longer had access to the home. An “oral tenancy agreement” with Woods was supposed to allow her to remain in the house after their split. Herman has even said she doesn’t remember signing an NDA. In addition to making Herman honor the document, a judge has ruled that the lawsuit must be settled outside of court.

Herman says Woods sexually harassed her from the start, pursuing her while she was a waitress at his The Woods Jupiter restaurant. After starting a relationship, she claims her famous ex forced her into signing the NDA or face being terminated. She claimed part of the reason for her eviction from his home was due to her refusing to have sex with him. A judge has stated that Herman failed to provide any proof to back her claims, calling them “vague and threadbare.”

Though a victory, Herman is not backing down. She maintains that matters of sexual assault should not be subjected to NDA laws. Herman is suing Woods’ trust for $30 million. Meanwhile, Woods continues to maintain his innocence.
