Tom Brady is preparing to step onto the field once again, this time in a competitive flag football tournament.

The 2026 Fanatics Flag Football Classic will take place on March 21 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will mark Brady’s first game appearance since retiring for the second time in 2023.

The event was announced on September 15 as a partnership between Brady, Fanatics, Fox Sports, and OBB Media. It is part of the larger Riyadh Season festival and will serve as the inaugural edition of what organizers describe as a global flag football competition.

The tournament format will feature three teams of eight players competing in a round-robin series.

The top two teams will advance to the championship match. Games will follow Olympic-style flag football rules, with a 50-yard playing field, 10-yard end zones, five players on each side, and two halves of 20 minutes each.

Brady will be joined by some of football’s biggest names as well as other elite athletes. Confirmed participants include Rob Gronkowski, Odell Beckham Jr., Tyreek Hill, Saquon Barkley, Christian McCaffrey, CeeDee Lamb, Sauce Gardner, Myles Garrett, Brock Bowers, and Maxx Crosby.

Several highly respected coaches will be leading the teams. Pete Carroll, Sean Payton, and Kyle Shanahan have been announced as coaches for the tournament, while actor and comedian Kevin Hart will host the live broadcast.

The games will be televised on FOX Sports and streamed on Tubi for a global audience.

Organizers have indicated that additional announcements are coming in the months ahead, including more player confirmations and special event programming.
