Tracy Morgan and his estranged wife Megan have filed documents to get a divorce.
Megan was the first to file, with Morgan following along the day after, according to TMZ. The outlet reports that Morgan wants joint legal custody and shared time with the former couple’s 7-year-old daughter. However, Megan wants sole custody and physical custody, which may turn their divorce into a custody battle.
TMZ reports that the couple signed a prenup when they got married, which they both acknowledged in their divorce filings. On top of the joint custody of his daughter, Morgan also wants his last name back. The two were married five years, and in a statement to TMZ, Morgan wrote, “Sadly, after nearly five years of marriage, Megan and I are filing for divorce. This is a challenging time for all involved.”
The two met on a blind date back in 2011 and were engaged later that year. The former couple then had their first child on July 13 and jumped the broom on Aug. 23, 2015.
How ever this goes down, we will keep them in good spirits.
