Travis Barker is asking a court to change his custody and child support arrangement with ex wife Shanna Moakler, according to a TMZ report published in late February 2016.
The Blink 182 drummer reportedly alleges in his filing that the home where the couple’s two children live has drugs and weapons within reach, and that he has concerns about how closely the children are supervised, including at mealtimes before school. These are Barker’s allegations as described in the report. They have not been proven, and no court has ruled on them.
Barker also asks the court to lower his monthly child support from $18,000 to about $2,900. The filing reportedly points to a drop in his income, from roughly $2 million a year when the original agreement was set to under $600,000 last year.
Moakler reportedly responded to the filing by saying she was devastated by it and arguing that a parent truly worried about the children would not try to financially ruin their mother.
