Trick Daddy is pulling back the curtain on a moment he says shifted his relationship with Polo Ralph Lauren for good.

During a recent interview with “The Art of Dialogue,” the Miami rapper explained how his heavy promotion of Polo in his music led him to believe he deserved a deeper connection with the brand. According to Trick, his influence was undeniable, especially across the South.
“I had, actually I had one of my A&Rs as well as one of my publicists to reach out to Polo because I had been saying Polo on the record. And I know Polo spiked in the South because if I did a concert, everybody would be rocking Polo.”
What he expected was access to exclusive merch. What he says he got instead was rejection.
“And they told me, ‘No, thank you. We appreciate it if you won’t even mention our name again in your songs.’”
From there, the tone shifted. Trick Daddy responded the only way he knew how, through music, dissing the brand on a track.
“Y’all can kiss my a**. And I started wearing iceberg,” he revealed.
He didn’t stop there. The rapper made it clear he felt overlooked and disrespected despite what he believes was a measurable impact on the brand’s popularity.
“They disrespected the King of Polo… I made them some motherf**king money, and they owe me an apology.”
Even now, he admits the moment still stings.
“They broke my heart. My heart hasn’t been broken that many times.”

And that’s what his ass gets and deserves nothing for supporting them racist ass crackers all the other black rappers do that for free and what they get nothing stop supporting the ass. You should’ve been doing that in the beginning support each other and you realize later they don’t give a shit about no black folks so fuck them too.
Polo in non shape or form a racist company. RL is one of the first to have a black guy ( T. beckford ) as their main model.
RL Just don’t want to associate themselves with the ratchet shit .. nothing to do with racism .
I mean really! Was he truly surprised at their response and if so where he been living.? Underground somewhere? They don’t care about us! There are plenty black designers that black celebrities could support and promote. When yall gonna learn!
