Trick Daddy Says He’ll Leave Florida Over Pornhub Ban: “I Swear to God, I’m Gone”

Trick Daddy

Trick Daddy isn’t holding back his feelings about Florida losing access to Pornhub starting January 1, 2025.

During a recent Instagram Live session, the 50-year-old rapper humorously declared he might leave the state altogether if the ban goes into effect.

“Y’all take Pornhub off the internet in Florida, I’m out of here,” he said to fans. “I swear to God, I’m gone. 14 days. If you get rid of Pornhub, it’s a Florida without the Trick Daddy Dollar.”

Pornhub will be blocked in Florida as a result of Florida’s HB-3 bill, passed earlier this year, which requires users to verify their age with government-issued identification, such as a driver’s license, to access adult websites. Rather than comply with the law, Pornhub’s parent company, Aylo, announced it would cease operations in Florida entirely, citing privacy concerns.

In a statement, Aylo described the verification process as “ineffective, haphazard, and dangerous,” saying it would require users to share “highly sensitive personal information.” Florida joins 12 other states, including Texas, Louisiana, and Virginia, where similar legislation has resulted in Pornhub being blocked.

Visitors to the site in Florida will soon see a message explaining the company’s stance:

“Did you know that your government wants you to give your driver’s license before you can access PORNHUB? As crazy as that sounds, it’s true… We don’t want minors accessing our site and think preventing that is a good thing. But putting everybody’s privacy at risk won’t achieve that.”
