Trina announces her upcoming wrestling debut while calling out AEW’s Jade Cargill.
On Wednesday night, the baddest chick made a cameo at AEW’s Grand Slam event. Trina appeared in a backstage segment to support Diamante’s upcoming match with Jade.
In a now-viral clip, Diamante shared that “the og baddie” will be present for the fight. However, this didn’t sit well with Jade, who considers herself apart of The Baddie Section along with Red Velvet and Kiera Hogan.
“OK, I see you Trina,” Jade says after the announcement. “And I’ma see both of y’all on Friday on Rampage.”
Trina responded, “You see me now. Yeah, we’ll see you Friday.”
The Florida rapper added excitement to the event after posting the clip to her Instagram with the caption, “This FRIDAY on #AEWRampage Grand Slam, TBS Champion @ms_cargill defends the title against @DiamanteLAX! But who is the OG Baddie Diamante promises to bring? Yours truly.”
Trina is the latest celebrity to get involved in the professional wrestling league. Other rappers such as Snoop Dogg, Wale, and Machine Gun Kelly. In July, Kevin Gates punched wrestler Tony Nese during an AEW event.
