A rep close to Maralee Nichols is claiming that Tristan Thompson has been a deadbeat dad to the 2-month-old son the two share.
“Despite news reports stating otherwise, Tristan Thompson has done nothing to support his son,” Harvey Englander, a rep for Nichols, told Page Six in a statement. “He has not made any attempt to meet their son, nor has he provided any financial assistance.”
Englander’s statement comes after it was revealed that Thompson, 30, might be on the hook for up to $40k a month to all of his children’s mothers. He shares daughter True, 3, with Khloe Kardashian; son Prince, 5, with Jordan Craig; and the newborn son with Nichols. Nichols has not yet shared the name of the infant.
The Sacramento Kings star vehemently denied getting the fitness star pregnant while still linked to Kardashian before taking a DNA test that proved he was the father. He finally owned up to fathering the child with Nichols in January.
“Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,” he wrote in his Instagram Story. “I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established, I look forward to amicably raising our son.”
In his IG Story, he also apologized to Kardashian, writing, “Khloé, you don’t deserve this.” He acknowledged the “heartache and humiliation” he put the reality star through. Kardashian has not commented on Thompson’s cheating. The two reportedly split back in June.
