Compton’s own DJ Quik doesn’t mind letting you know that he likes to get high. While many choose marijuana as their drug of choice, Quik prefers Xanax — and other things.
The 46 year old DJ/recording artist got lifted Thursday night and chronicled the entire thing on Twitter. “I brought @ElDeBarge back 1st and got him paid. @kanyewest gets all the credit. Unfair. I’m bout to do some blow and drink Jameson,” he began. “My book coming soon. I’m gonna write it on Xanax. I’ve been watching @vinylHBO and Ritchie is my Idol right now. That’s why I’m getting high!“
Quik went on to refer to himself as Frank Xanaxtra before posting a photo of six pills. Don’t ask me what they were, I’m drug free. When a fan asked what kind of pills they were, Quik answered “They’re illicit.”
Quik went on to talk about his adoration for Oxycodone, Ecstasy and LSD. He then justified his drug use by tweeting, “We all have an appointment with the grave so GO ALL THE WAY, Or Take several seats.”
Quik wants fans not to worry, he doesn’t have a drug problem and he’s not trolling. “I’m good do not worry. I don’t troll or fish the web for sympathy. I’m just High as Eagle Balls rite now !”
Not sure why Quick would post about taking drugs, but it’s his life, his Twitter.
