Twitter for Fleets

Twitter is hellbent on giving its users every new feature except an edit button.

On Tuesday, the platform announced they were testing a new feature that allows users to handpick their audience. That’s right; you can now choose who views your tweets. Think IG’s “Close Friends,” but in the form of a newsfeed. In other words, if you’d like to tweet about your spicy rendezvous with your side boo without having to block your boyfriend, this feature was made with you in mind.

“Twitter Circle” will allow users to create a list of up to 150 of their VIPs who can view snd interact with their tweets. There will be an option to share tweets only with the Circle or the general timeline. If you do not yet see the “Twitter Circle” feature on your profile, have no fear. The social media giant is only testing it on a small group across the standard and premium versions.

If this feature goes live, it will be one of only a few available to both tiers of Twitter. The Elon Musk-owned site has stated that it will experiment with a revision button, but exclusively for premium accounts or Twitter Blue, as it’s called. On the bright side, this subscription option is only $2.99 a month.

It remains unclear how long “Twitter Circle” will be tested and when the app will decide on its permanent implementation.
