Ty Dolla $ign and YG have reportedly paid a low six figure sum to settle a dispute with an Australian soccer player over an alleged 2015 incident at a Melbourne nightclub, according to TMZ.
Per TMZ, soccer player Nelly Yoa said the two rappers punched and kicked him in the head after he refused to leave their VIP area at the club. Yoa also claimed the incident cost him a major soccer contract.
TMZ reported that Yoa told the artists about two years later that a lawsuit was coming. He said the rappers chose to settle rather than go through a legal fight. These are Yoa’s claims as reported by TMZ, and the report did not include a comment from either artist.
