The divorce between Tyreek Hill and Keeta Vaccaro is growing increasingly intense as Vaccaro moves to bring Hill’s controversial history back into the spotlight.
In a new legal maneuver, she has filed for subpoenas aimed at several law enforcement agencies and the NFL itself. Her goal is to obtain documented evidence of “other crimes, wrongs or acts committed” by the former Miami Dolphins receiver, along with “certified copies of his grandparents’ criminal convictions.”
Vaccaro’s legal team is digging deep to support her claims that Hill has a history of violence. She has accused the NFL star of a series of horrifying acts, including assaulting her while she was pregnant. Her filings allege that Hill punched her, spat on her, and physically intimidated her, even making threats against her life. While Hill has flatly denied these accounts, claiming any physical contact was in self-defense, Vaccaro maintains she has video footage of his behavior that one of his former teams supposedly tried to buy for a massive sum.
By obtaining records from the Stillwater Police Department and the Oakland Park Police Department, as well as the NFL’s 2019 child abuse probe, Vaccaro is attempting to establish a pattern of behavior. The 2019 investigation involved Hill’s young son, who suffered a broken arm, though the case was eventually closed without charges. Vaccaro’s team believes these files are essential to proving Hill is a serial abuser. With Hill’s past also including a 2014 guilty plea for domestic assault and battery by strangulation against another pregnant woman, the courtroom battle is quickly becoming a referendum on the athlete’s off-field character.
