Tyrese is turning to the courts over a planned trip abroad involving his young daughter.
According to TMZ, Tyrese filed legal documents in March 2015 asking a judge to stop his ex wife, Norma, from taking their 7 year old daughter to Israel for a vacation planned for March 27. Norma is an Israeli citizen, and TMZ reported that Tyrese fears she could keep their daughter there permanently.
TMZ also reported that Tyrese asked Norma to sign an agreement promising to return their daughter by a set date, and that she declined to sign it. No response from Norma was included in the report, and her side of the story has not been made public.
The matter is now reportedly before a family court mediator who will set the ground rules. Tyrese and Norma were married from 2007 until their divorce in 2009. We will update you if either of them speaks publicly.
