Tyrese is back in the middle of a custody dispute. According to TMZ, his ex, Norma, has filed new paperwork claiming he violated a temporary restraining order when he had a banner flown over their daughter’s school.
TMZ reports that Norma accused Tyrese of striking their daughter, which led the Department of Children and Family Services to open an investigation. She was then granted a temporary restraining order that bars Tyrese from direct contact with her or their daughter. These are Norma’s allegations, and they have not been proven.
The banner read, “No matter what, Daddy loves you.” TMZ also reports that Tyrese sent gifts to the school, including balloons, a fruit basket and a teddy bear. Norma believes the banner and the gifts violate the order and amount to witness intimidation. DCFS is reportedly expected to speak with the child as part of its investigation.
Tyrese’s team says nothing was violated because he had no personal contact with his daughter.
