Tyrese Gibson’s legal fight with his ex wife, Norma, has taken another turn. According to Page Six, a source close to the situation says the singer’s attorney has stepped away from the case, which would leave Tyrese representing himself for now.
The source told Page Six that the attorney filed a substitution of attorney on Monday. Tyrese would act as his own lawyer until he hires someone new. Tyrese has not publicly confirmed the report.
The news comes days after reports that Tyrese skipped court approved visits with his daughter to travel overseas, and weeks after he posted an emotional video about his finances and his time with his daughter.
Norma is still asking the court for a permanent restraining order against the actor. She has accused him of physically disciplining their daughter. Tyrese has been fighting for more time with his child.
