Tyrese has been giving out a lot of relationship advice but one relationship he can’t seem to get together is the one between him and his ex-wife Norma Gibson.
Norma, who receives $6,222/month in child support, says Tyrese is an absentee father that blows off daddy duties frequently. She says that he always chooses to be away over his daughter. Last night Tyrese went over to Norma’s home to pick up their 6 year old daughter Shayla. According to Norma, Shayla was sick and Norma did not want her to leave that day. Tyrese, on the other hand, wasn’t having it. Before Tyrese showed up, however, Norma called police because she felt the custody order did not require her to turn the kid over and she needed cops to look at the document. LAPD officers arrived and Tyrese showed up as well. Needless to say, Tyrese left without his daughter.
There was no disturbance of peace or arrests being made. Tyrese still isn’t 100% enthused about the visitation situation. Sources close to Tyrese say he’s going to court to ask a judge to hold Norma in contempt and throw her in jail for violating the custody order. He does not believe his child was sick … he thinks it’s all just revenge.
