The coronavirus pandemic has sent the entire world into a frenzy, including passengers on Flight 1562. The commercial flight from Colorado ski country to Newark, New Jersey, had to reroute due to three passengers complaining that they were seated next to someone who was sick.

United Airlines officials told Denver media that, “a small group of passengers became disruptive after they were seated next to someone who was sneezing and coughing.” Although the crew members attempted to instruct the small group, the plane was forced to land where the police then escorted the disruptive passengers off the aircraft.

It was later reported to KCNC-TV that the “sick” passenger was screened on the plane and did not have a fever. It was revealed that he was suffering from allergies. He was allowed to continue on the flight.

As of this afternoon, according to The New York Times, at least 2,345 people in 49 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico have tested positive for the coronavirus. At least 50 patients have died.
