Four R&B Tour dates are officially off. Usher and Chris Brown’s stadium shows in Baltimore, Cincinnati, Columbia and Indianapolis were canceled Friday, and fans started sharing cancellation emails from Ticketmaster that evening.

The canceled dates are:

  • Oct. 17 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore
  • Oct. 24 at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati
  • Oct. 29 at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, South Carolina
  • Oct. 31 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis

The shows were removed from the tour’s website, and their Ticketmaster pages now read, “Event Canceled. Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event.”

The tour hasn’t released a public statement, but the email sent to ticketholders said the shows were canceled due to the “health and well-being of the touring party and crew,” according to Cincinnati’s WKRC.

Lucas Oil Stadium gave a similar explanation in a statement Friday. “The demands of a tour of this length and scale are significant, and these adjustments will allow the tour to continue safely and sustainably through the remaining scheduled performances,” the venue said.

Ticketholders are expected to receive refunds within two to three weeks. The tour has not said whether any of the canceled shows will be rescheduled.

The timing has fans talking. The BBC reported that Chris Brown is expected in London for sentencing on Oct. 26 after pleading guilty in a 2023 nightclub attack. That court date falls between the Cincinnati and Columbia shows. Neither the tour nor Ticketmaster has connected the cancellations to Brown’s case.

The R&B Tour, produced by Live Nation, brought Usher and Brown together for a stadium run across the country. The rest of the scheduled dates remain on the calendar for now.
