A Utah man who was acquitted in a separate sexual assault case weeks earlier has now been charged in a child sex abuse case, according to The Salt Lake Tribune.
Samuel, 24, was charged Tuesday in 4th District Court with five felony counts: rape of a child, sodomy of a child, aggravated sexual abuse of a child, sexual abuse of a child and witness tampering. Charging documents allege he abused a 6 year old girl during a visit to a Provo home and then offered the child’s mother money to keep her from contacting police.
The Tribune reports that Samuel was arrested after the child’s mother went to police. Weeks earlier he had been acquitted in a 2017 case involving a college student. He surrendered to police the day after the alleged incident, and no court date had been set at the time of the report.
The charges are allegations, and a response from Samuel was not included in the report. He is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

How could you just leave your child with a stranger.?
