Amazon has added Venmo to its list of convenient payment options.

On Tuesday, the retail giant rolled out the implementation to select United States shoppers. By Black Friday, Venmo will be available for all Amazon users to enjoy during the bustling retail day. Amazon purchases can be paid for easily with the peer-to-peer money-sharing service. When buyers tap “Select a Payment Method” during checkout, they’ll continue by pressing “Add a Venmo account.” From there, authorize Amazon to use the Venmo account and choose whether or not the money will come from a linked bank account, eligible debit card, or balance. Venmo can be added as the default payment method or a one-time method.

“We want to offer customers payment options that are convenient, easy to use, and secure, and there’s no better time for that than the busy holiday season,” said Max Bardon, vice president of Amazon Worldwide Payment.

Currently, Amazon allows customers to pay for purchases using credit and debit cards, bank accounts, or Affirm.

Since PayPal, Venmo’s parent firm, has increased its capabilities in recent years, Venmo’s inclusion on Amazon should not come as a surprise. Venmo can now be used to pay for Lyft rides, manage cryptocurrency and cash checks.

If Venmo is not yet available for your Amazon purchases, have no fear. By Friday, November 25th, you’ll be on track to spend those coins and grab your marked-down Christmas goods using the trusted app.
