Victoria Monét is celebrating a major personal win after officially graduating from culinary school, proving her schedule might be busier than almost anybody in music right now. The Grammy-winning singer marked the moment on Instagram with photos in her cap and gown, champagne celebrations and snapshots from her graduation ceremony while sharing how emotional the experience felt for her.

The “On My Mama” artist revealed she completed the program while still spending long nights in the studio working on her upcoming album. In her caption, Monét wrote, “Graduation day 5/4. I’m officially a Culinary School Graduate after I walk the stage tonight! I’mma cry.” She also thanked her family, daughter, trainers, teachers and team for supporting what she called her “absolutely crazy ambitious idea.”
Monét added, “the 4 a.m. alarms to the late night moonlit studio endings and the 11 million things in between… we got it all done!! It’s ‘Yes Chef’ now when [you] see me.”
The accomplishment wasn’t random either. Back in 2025, the Atlanta native launched her ItsChefMonet platform and shared that cooking had always been one of her lifelong passions.
“It’s something that I’ve always wanted to do. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine,” she previously explained while discussing her love for recipes that connect generations.
In another video shared to Twitter, the singer strutted in her cap and gown to Michael Jackson’s “You Rock My World,” writing “I’m officially a Culinary School Graduate Imma cry #instituteofculinaryeducation.”
