Wale’s “Lotus Flower Bomb” Is Rumored To Be About Solange, Wale Replies, “She Married Now”

It was no secret that Wale and Solange dated briefly early on in their careers, but who knew one of Wale’s most popular songs came from it? Wale took some time out of his day to respond to fans on Twitter and one user asked him what inspired the #Miguel featured track, “Lotus Flower Bomb”.

“She married now,” is all #Wale replied. Solange is married to music video director Alan Ferguson but there is a slight chance Wale could’ve been talking about another woman he linked up with before the track, who also got married. According to HNHH, the other woman is a reach considering how much he expressed his love for Solange at the time of their relationship and he hasn’t been seriously linked with anyone else since.

“I do love her,” Wale previously said of Solange. “We’re friends. She’s amazing. She’s a good person. Any single mother contributing to society the way she does – I got a lot of love for them. She’s got to do a lot on her own and raise a young black man in this day and age so my hat goes off to her. She’s definitely an anomaly. And the way she can do that and manage to do the same things that I complain about having to do.”

What do you guys think? Is this a reach or did you recognize any hints of truth from the song itself?
