A couple of years back I got the opportunity to interview Trill Ent rapper, Webbie, on the BET Hip Hop Awards red carper in Atlanta. Up until this week, his long time friend and label mate Boosie had been behind bars serving an 8 year sentence for sneaking lean into prison. While on the carpet, Webbie wastes no time letting us know that he’s doing bad and he’s ready to rob some Ballers.
“I’m giving all the Ballers an alert. My brother’s in jail and I’m doing bad so I might jack one of y’all b**** a** ni***s.”
Thankfully, no Ballers were harmed before Boosie’s return home. The Baton Rouge rapper has recorded over 1,000 songs and is ready to hit the road again. Enjoy this Ballerific Way Back Wednesday contribution.
