Wendy Williams was reportedly voluntarily admitted to a New York City hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.

This news comes just a day after it was announced that the return of her talk show would be delayed due to her testing positive for a “breakthrough case” of covid-19.

Sources tell TMZ that the talk show host, who has struggled with mental health issues for some time, was taken to the hospital Tuesday for a psych evaluation. There’s been no word on when she’ll be released; however, the good news is, her mental health continues to improve each day, TMZ reported. As for her covid diagnosis, the talk show host reportedly is asymptomatic.

The 13th season of the Wendy Williams show was initially set to premiere Sept. 20; however, it has been since pushed to Oct. 4.

Let’s continue to send well wishes to Wendy.
