Wendy Williams's Ex-Boo Says She Has To Have The "Last Word" In Breakup

Wendy Williams and Mike Esterman

Wendy Williams’s ex-boo Mike Esterman is airing her out after she called him “childish” following their split on her talk show.

Esterman told Page Six that the comments came as no surprise to him and that Williams likes to have “the last word.”

“And because she is the kind of person that she is, she’s the only thing that will make herself look best.”

Williams’ sly remarks resulted from her not being pleased with Esterman revealing that their breakup was due to hectic schedules and the distance.

“I didn’t say anything publicly about it because I’m that grown. We would’ve had this discussion way behind the scenes,” Williams said during the Wednesday episode. “I am not embarrassed because I’m that grown. But since childish ones — Mike — well, he’s giving quotes!”

The 56-year-old host and producer agreed that distance was the boiling point for both she and Esterman.

“Mike is in Maryland. You guys keep asking, ‘Where is Mike?’ I’m like, Mike has a job, he’s a contractor slash social influencer, and whatever he has going on, whatever he does. Mike is a nice guy, but we are too geographically far from each other.”

Esterman told Page Six that he didn’t consider his time with Williams as “that big of a relationship to begin with other than getting to know each other on a few dates.”
