Wendy Williams allegedly encountered a federal tax lien for unpaid taxes exceeding half a million dollars.
According to legal documents, her New York City condo, purchased for $4.5 million in 2021, is being subjected to the lien.
Williams is said to have owed $568,451.57 in unpaid federal taxes in 2019 and 2021.
Online documents show that the lien was filed with the New York City Department of Finance at the beginning of February.
According to TMZ, Wendy’s financial guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, apparently joined the team following the alleged tax violations and was appointed sometime in the spring of 2022.
The news comes after her team announced that the talk show host had been diagnosed with aphasia and dementia.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that she is no longer in business with her publicist and former jeweler-turned-manager.
