Wendy Williams is making it clear that she wants nothing else to do with Kevin Hunter in the midst of their divorce.
According to TMZ, sources close to Williams say that the talk show host cut Hunter off financially, weeks ago. Apparently, Williams sought the help of a new financial advisor, separating her funds and opening a new bank account before even serving her estranged husband with divorce papers.
Outside of “money moves,” Williams is said to be leaving her old home with Hunter in New Jersey and moving to Manhattan. TMZ revealed that Williams signed the lease weeks ago and has already paid the rent up for an entire year.
Williams allegedly struggled with the decision to maintain a business relationship with Hunter, before releasing him as an executive producer from her talk show earlier this month. However, sources close to Hunter say that he hasn’t received a payout from the show, “following his departure.”
As for her next steps, Williams is on the hunt for a new business manager and is focused on life with her son Kevin Jr., after moving to end 22 years of marriage with his father.
