Wendy's Releases Limited-Edition Peppermint Frosty Just in Time for Holidays

This is the first time Wendy’s has released a holiday flavor and the third time the brand has ventured outside of chocolate and vanilla for their iconic frosty, and it’s for a Christmas flavor, peppermint!

The new limited-edition Peppermint Frosty will be available in select store locations starting on November 15.

“Folks enjoyed the strawberry Frosty enough that we knew it was important to get after another flavor and one that would tie well with the holidays,” said Wendy’s chief marketing officer, Carl Loredo told CNN exclusively.  “Peppermint is amazing, and it’s a great way to ring in the holiday season.”

Since the peppermint flavor will be taking over Frosty machines, that means the Vanilla flavor will not be available for the remainder of the year.

“It’s an accelerated path, but it’s something we’ve been working on for a few years,” he said. “[Peppermint] was a flavor that we knew consumers liked — ultimately, the commercialization piece [was an aspect] we needed to finalize quickly, but it’s been something we had our minds,” Loredo continued.

If the peppermint flavor is successful, don’t be surprised if Wendy’s focuses its attention on new flavors all 2023.
