Arrogant men turn a lot of women on, and Justin Timberlake and Kanye West are the proof. Both walk into every room like they own it, both have been called arrogant more times than anyone can count, and women still line up for them. So what is it about arrogant men that keeps women coming back?
Confidence is the first answer. An arrogant man looks secure in his appearance, his style and his money, and security reads as attractive. Few things kill attraction faster than a man who second guesses how he looks or what he can afford. The arrogant man does not seem to care what anyone thinks of him, or at least he never lets it show. His swagger can wear thin, but it is easy to forgive when he is the man on your arm.
Arrogance also comes packaged with the bad boy image. The guys who ran the hallways in high school knew they were the coolest people in the building and made sure everyone else knew it too. In the movies, the bad guy usually gets the best lines. Cool reads as sexy, and a man who seems a little out of reach makes the chase more exciting. Plenty of women would rather work for the bigger prize than settle for the guy who is easy to get.
Then there is the way arrogant men talk. They say what they think, they do not water it down, and they stand behind it. That kind of man keeps a woman on her toes, and he will not back down when something matters to him.
Most arrogant men also have a reason for the attitude, and it is usually talent. Timberlake can sing, dance and act. Kanye is a genius producer who changed the sound of hip hop. When a man is that gifted, the arrogance starts to look like earned confidence, and that is a turn on all by itself.
Nice guys are supposed to finish last. That is not always true, but arrogant men rarely finish anywhere but first when it comes to a woman’s attention.
