A video of a police call at an Attleboro, Massachusetts dog park is making the rounds online, and it started with two dogs playing.
According to NBC News, a man named Franklin was at Attleboro Dog Park with his dog on Wednesday when his dog began humping another dog. The other dog’s owner, a woman, asked him to leave and then called police. On the call, she can be heard saying, “Your dog keeps humping my dog and assaults him.”
Franklin began recording the encounter. In the video, he says, “My dog’s assaulting your dog, do you listen to yourself?” He says he separated the dogs and adds that he has seen other dogs at the park do the same thing. The woman accused him of verbally assaulting her and of breaking park rules. Franklin said he believes the call would not have been made if he were white.
When an officer arrived, he told Franklin that his running car was a motor vehicle citation issue. The woman also told the officer that Franklin had threatened her after standing close to her to explain that his dog was just being a dog. The officer told Franklin that standing that close to someone could be considered an assault even without touching. The officer also threatened to ticket him, and Franklin said he decided to leave because he did not want things to get worse, per NBC News.
The Attleboro Police Department did not respond to requests for comment at the time of this report. The woman has not been publicly confirmed to have said anything beyond what is heard in the video. No charges were reported.

This is why the world we live in is getting worse!! The government needs to start a division to govern these ludacris police polices that encourages this kind of stupid behavior as long as they encourage this kind of behavior it will keep happening. Really the cop said he was going to get a ticket because his dog hump her dog. I really thought police officers had more important things to do beside dealing with this kind of idiotic situations.
