Page Six reported this week that Hunter Biden, the son of former Vice President Joe Biden, is dating Hallie, the widow of his late brother Beau. Beau Biden died in 2015 after a battle with brain cancer.
According to the report, the relationship began after Hunter separated from his wife, Kathleen. The two have been described as estranged. We did not see a public response from Kathleen at the time of the report.
In a statement to Page Six, Hunter said he and Hallie feel lucky to have found support in each other during a very difficult time, and he thanked the family and friends who have stood by them.
The former Vice President and his wife also released a statement backing the couple, and said Hunter and Hallie have the family’s “full and complete support” as they move forward.
