Wisconsin Teen Kills Parents, Steals Cash to Finance Trump Assassination Scheme

A Wisconsin teenager killed his parents as part of a larger plot to assassinate Donald Trump.

According to a newly unsealed federal affidavit, 17-year-old Nikita Casap “called for the assassination of the president and overthrow of the U.S. government” in writings and text messages. Investigators claim he murdered his parents to gain “financial means and autonomy” to carry out his plan.

Casap faces nine felony charges in Wisconsin, including two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of hiding a corpse. Federal authorities are pursuing charges of “presidential assassination, conspiracy, and use of weapons of mass destruction.”

Police believe Casap fatally shot his mother, Tatiana Casap, and stepfather, Donald Mayer, on February 11th. Their bodies were discovered over two weeks later during a welfare check. Mayer’s SUV was listed as stolen and later located in Kansas, where Casap was found with $14,000 in cash, over $14,000 in jewelry, and a .357 Magnum revolver. He had also begun purchasing explosives for his plot.

Authorities uncovered disturbing material on Casap’s phone, including references to “The Order of Nine Angles,” images of Hitler, and a manifesto urging Trump’s assassination to “create a political revolution” and “save the white race.” One excerpt read, “By getting rid of the president and perhaps the vice president, that is guaranteed to bring in some chaos.”

Casap also researched turning drones into weapons and had photos of his stepfather’s bank cards. A classmate said Casap planned to steal a gun and was communicating with someone in Russia about “overthrowing the U.S. government.” In one Telegram message, Casap asked, “So while in Ukraine, I’ll be able to live a normal life? Even when it’s found out I did it?”

Casap’s arraignment is set for May 7th.
