A Miami woman has been arrested and accused of stealing five watches worth a combined $108,000 from a man she met at a nightclub, according to arrest documents cited by the Daily Mail.
The Daily Mail reports that the woman, identified as Delajurea, 29, is accused of taking the timepieces from Ramon, 46. Authorities say the two met at a club and she agreed to return to his hotel room. Once there, police say, she noticed a bag holding the watches and left with them.
Ramon reportedly noticed the watches were gone and chased after her. According to the arrest documents, he caught up with her outside as she tried to hail a cab and confronted her. Police say she then hit him, and hotel staff called authorities.
When officers arrived, they reportedly searched the bag she was carrying and recovered one watch, a $22,000 Hublot. Authorities say the remaining watches, including a $60,000 platinum Daytona and another with a diamond bezel, were found during a search at the jail, where guards say they discovered them hidden on her person.
Delajurea has been charged with grand theft, cocaine possession and introducing contraband into a correctional facility, per the report. She was reportedly released on bond. A charge is an accusation, not a conviction, and a response from her was not included in the reporting.
