A Chicago woman was arrested Sunday after she got past security checkpoints at O’Hare International Airport and boarded an American Airlines flight to Los Angeles without a ticket, reportedly hoping to meet Jay Z.
According to reports from Fox News and NBC Chicago, Yaazmina, 23, was spotted around 7:45 a.m. sneaking under ropes at a boarding door near a ticket gate. Airline agents were alerted and confronted her. She did not have a ticket or boarding pass. Prosecutors said she told authorities she had avoided the security checkpoints, and she reportedly offered to show how she did it.
She was charged with criminal trespass and released on $500 bail. A judge ordered her to stay out of O’Hare.
A TSA spokesperson said the agency was investigating the security breach, a review that could take up to 90 days. Representatives for Jay Z had not commented on the incident at the time of this report.
