A Pennsylvania man was arrested Wednesday after killing his father and dismembering his body.
32-year-old Donald Meshey Jr. was charged with criminal homicide, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence after police responded to a woman’s call concerned about a relative’s well-being. She said Donald Meshey Jr. told her a head in a freezer and a cadaver in a bed. She then told police she saw what she believed was the severed head of one of her relatives inside a freezer.
The coroner identified the victim as 67-year-old Donald Meshey.
Court documents said when police arrived, Meshey escorted the responding officer to the kitchen and removed what appeared to be a human head on a white dinner plate from the freezer.
The statement also revealed that Meshey later spoke with detectives and told them “he found what he described as a ‘cadaver doll’ in his father’s bedroom, which looked and sounded like his father.”
He later admitted to “stabbing the ‘cadaver doll’ for 2 to 3 minutes with a knife and then dismembered the body,” the documents confirmed.
Meshey was booked in the Lancaster County Prison.
