A $4 all you can eat pancake deal at a Chicago area Denny’s led to an arrest, according to The Smoking Gun and the Oak Lawn Police Department.
The incident happened on a Friday at a Denny’s in Oak Lawn, Illinois. Natasha, 27, was dining with friends and reportedly wanted to use the $4 pancake special to feed the whole group. When the waitress explained that the deal applied per diner, police say Natasha became upset.
According to the Oak Lawn Police Department, she cursed at the waitress and threw several punches at her, but did not hit her. Police also say the group left without paying their bill and that Natasha kicked the door several times on the way out.
Restaurant employees gave police a description of the car, and officers located her. She was charged with assault and damage to property. A charge is an accusation, and she is presumed innocent unless proven otherwise. No response from Natasha was included in the reports we reviewed.
Moral of the story: read the fine print on that pancake deal before you order for the whole table.
