woman tells neighbor you're not the right color

You about to lose your job. And that’s exactly what happened to a white Virginia food bank worker that told her neighbor she’s “not the right color.”

Video footage of the woman shouting was taken Thursday by Laquetta Good, 30, who was being yelled at by her neighbor as she stood on her front porch. Good shared the footage to her Facebook page, and it quickly went viral.

“Watch me handle this,” the woman yells in the footage. “You are not the right color, honey.” The woman is on the phone in the video, and according to Good, she was calling the police to the house.

Then, when Good asks the woman, “I’m a n****r?” the woman tells her, “Yes, you are.”

The argument between the two had nothing to do with the unidentified woman’s job. Instead, it resulted from an ongoing issue they have because their children don’t get along.

Good told Daily Mail that she feels like a prisoner in her own house. She has since created a GoFundMe to move out of the neighborhood.

“She has called me many names before but to hear her being racist, that really shocked me,” Good said. “You should be able to feel comfortable in your own home. This is not acceptable. We still have a long way to go as a society for equality.”

Chesterfield Food Bank said that multiple people have reached out to them over the video and are “broken-hearted” over the behavior of their former employee showed in the video.

CFB said in a statement, in part: “In response to this situation, we have terminated this employee. We remain committed to creating and providing a positive, uplifting, and encouraging environment for our staff, volunteers, and clients.”
