A former employee and lover of rapper Soulja Boy is suing him for allegedly raping her over a two year period.
The woman, identified only as Jane Doe, was hired as Soulja’s personal assistant in December 2018. The woman claims that soon after she was hired, he began sending her unsolicited nudes. Eventually, the two began a romantic relationship, and she moved into his home.
After moving in, Jane Doe says that the “Kiss Me Thru The Phone” rapper became violent with her in January 2019. During one encounter, the woman claims that Soulja pushed her out of a vehicle and forced her to walk five miles.
The accuser claims that the violence took a turn when he raped her in February 2019. She says that he “expressed remorse” following the incident and paid her $1,000 to seemingly keep quiet. In May of that year, she claims that Soulja, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, spit on her when she tried to quit her job as his assistant.
In the court documents obtained by TMZ, Jane Doe accuses her former boss of punching, kicking, and body-slamming her after becoming jealous of her social media activity. Soulja allegedly became so controlling that he eventually locked her in a room with no food nor water on several occasions.
Before moving out towards the end of 2020, Jane Doe says that she was raped sometimes twice a day. Even after moving out of his home, Soulja allegedly raped her a final time when she came back to retrieve her belongings.
Jane Doe is suing for sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, infliction of emotional distress. She is also seeking unpaid wages.
Soulja Boy has denied the claims.
