Police in the Seattle area say they recovered the remains of a 40 year old mother of three, Ingrid, shortly after she went on a date with a man she met online, according to Daily Mail.
Ingrid was last seen heading to a Seattle Mariners game to meet a man named John, 37. Friends became worried when she did not show up to pick up her children the next day. Her ex-husband reported her missing Saturday morning around 10:10, after he tried to drop off their three daughters and noticed she had not been home. Reports say her purse and phone were found at her home, and her car was reported stolen before it was found in downtown Seattle.
Police recovered the remains Saturday afternoon in a neighborhood less than three miles from the stadium. Friends had been sharing photos of Ingrid and John on Facebook in hopes that someone had seen her. They became more concerned when John could not be reached.
John was arrested at his home, and police say the investigation is ongoing. At the time of this report, no further details had been confirmed by authorities.
