Creators, Alex Tse, and superstar legend, the RZA, are celebrating the renewal of their scripted series, ‘Wu-Tang: An American Saga’ as it has been renewed for its second season.
The show originally aired on Hulu Sept. 4, 2019, with an explosive outpouring of success, keeping viewers anxiously locked in to watch week-after-week, with only 10 episodes listed during its first season.
‘Wu-Tang: An American Saga’ takes a look into the legendary hip-hop group, the Wu-Tang Clan. The series chronicles some major events that surfaced early-on in the group’s career and highlights the journey of each rap artist on the team, explaining the history of the clique’s known “rawness” & exposing stories of hustle, survival, war, and music.
Season 1 didn’t feature U-God or Cappadonna, leaving viewers to query the candor of the storyline, but loyal fans may be in for a surprise in season two, according to The Source.
Deriving from NYC, the Wu-Tang Clan is an iconic fixture in the hip-hop community, responsible for hits like, “C.R.E.A.M.,” “Triumph,” and “Protect Ya Neck.”
There is no set date for season two’s release. However, it is tentatively rumored to air during the second half of 2020.
