It looks like 2024 is the year of the Las Vegas Residency, with Wu-Tang Clan becoming the latest artist to land their own Sin City lineup.
The hip-hop group announced their concert series on Tuesday in an Instagram post. The “CREAM” collective will begin their Vegas trek on February 9th, 2024, at the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. They will headline four dates: February 9th, February 10th, March 22nd and March 23rd. Coincidentally, those are Super Bowl and March Madness weekends, respectively. The city will be filled with entertainers from all realms, as well as music and sports fans during the massive sporting events.
Presale tickets have already gone on sale, with regular tickets being made available starting on Friday. One of the main questions that fans have is whether or not Method Man will be performing with his group. In the past, his acting schedule has clashed with Wu-Tang’s touring dates, leaving him absent from recent performances. He has not yet commented on the residency, so it remains a mystery at this time.
Wu-Tang’s announcement also coincides with Jodeci also revealing they are headed to the Vegas Strip. Their show series will go from March 15th to July 13th at the House of Blues Las Vegas. Usher recently wrapped up his own residency as he prepares to tackle the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Meanwhile, Adele has extended her show until June 2024. Rumors of Beyonce landing a similar Vegas deal was quickly dismissed by her team.
Wu-Tang fans should secure their tickets now, as this will surely be a sold-out event.
