Dallas rapper Yella Beezy has been indicted for capital murder in connection to the 2020 killing of MO3, a case that has gripped hip-hop fans for years. Prosecutors in Dallas County, Texas, allege that Beezy, real name Markies Conway, hired Kevon White to carry out the targeted hit on MO3, whose real name was Melvin Noble.

According to court documents, the grand jury indictment accuses Yella Beezy of paying White to execute MO3 in exchange for money. The chilling murder, which took place on November 11, 2020, saw MO3 being chased down on Interstate 35 in Dallas before being fatally shot.

MO3’s murder has long been suspected to be the result of a rap feud, though details remained unclear until now. The indictment states that Beezy allegedly provided payment or the promise of payment to White for carrying out the hit.

Yella Beezy, a well-known name in the Dallas rap scene, had previously denied any involvement in MO3’s death. However, these new charges suggest authorities believe they have enough evidence to prove he played a key role in the deadly plot.

As of now, Beezy has not publicly commented on the charges. If convicted of capital murder, he could face life in prison or even the death penalty under Texas law.
