YFN Lucci Says an Inmate Stabbed Him; Asks Judge for Early Release

YFN Lucci has asked a judge to grant a bond so that he can be released from jail after claiming he was stabbed.

Lucci, who is incarcerated at the Fulton County Jail, says he was stabbed last month by another inmate, TMZ reports.

Lucci alleges he was “stabbed from behind” and was also told that he has a “bounty” on him, court documents reported.

Along with Lucci’s bond request, Thursday’s report also said that the “Ray Ray From Summerhill” artist proposed a home confinement-centered release as well, which is complete with the use of a monitoring device.

In an Emergency Motion for Bond filing, Lucci’s counsel says that their client “voluntarily turned himself into the custody of the Fulton County Jail” early 2021 after he had warrants, which included a warrant for murder. Later, Lucci and the counsel arranged for a consent bond with the State.

In April 2021, Lucci and other co-defendants named in an indictment had RICO-related charges and other counts that resulted in new arrest warrants. While Lucci turned himself in “immediately and voluntarily,” his lawyer noted that he still had his original bond revoked and a new bond denied.

As for the stabbing, Lucci’s counsel filed  March 1 documents saying  that the defendant “fears that his life is in jeopardy if he remains in the custody of the Fulton County Jail.” At the time, Lucci says, he was now in protective custody and “no other inmates” were allowed to be outside their cell, Complex reported.
