Young Thug and YFN Lucci Drag One Another Online — But Is It All Album Marketing?

Young Thug and YFN Lucci

After both scrapping their September 19th album releases, YFN Lucci and Young Thug are now preparing to go head-to-head on September 26th. Making their rollouts even more interesting, both rappers have trolled each other on Instagram, though given their tumultuous history, many are unsure if they are just joking.

Thugger kicked things off with a promo post for his long-awaited album, “UY SCUTI.” In the image, Thug is surrounded by his own merch. However, it was the caption that got people talking.

“F**k @yfnlucci album UY SCUTI Friday,” he wrote.

This comes after Thug’s Big Bank interview, where he claimed the two had squashed their beef. Years ago, the pair were embroiled in a serious feud, which stemmed heavily from the murder of Lucci’s associate Donovan “Big Nut” Thomas Jr. in 2015. Additionally, while both men were locked up, Thug was accused of trying to have Lucci killed behind bars. While Lucci has remained mostly silent on the state of the beef, he wasted no time partaking in the internet bullying.

In response to Thug, Lucci shared a recent selfie of his opp, where he appears to be wearing a corset of some kind.

“ALBUM AINT NUN FOR A MILLION UGLY AHH MAN @thuggerthugger1 😂😂 #ALREADYLEGEND FRIDAY F**K BUDDY,” Lucci captioned the image.

It is unclear why Lucci chose to push his album back, though Thug shared days ago that he was halting his release out of respect for Cardi B, who released her album on Friday, September 19th. Nevertheless, it appears that the men are ready for another battle, hopefully strictly in the music.
