Chef Mila — whose real name is Jamila “Mila” Adams — is making headlines again after breaking her silence in the wake of former NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs’ acquittal, this time appearing to direct her message squarely at Cardi B.
Adams, Diggs’ former live-in personal chef, testified during the two-day trial that Diggs slapped and choked her during an argument at his Dedham, Massachusetts home on December 2, 2025. Defense attorneys challenged her credibility, pointing to financial disputes and a disagreement over a planned trip to Miami as possible motivations behind the allegations. A Massachusetts jury ultimately acquitted Diggs of felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault and battery charges. His attorney declared after the verdict that no assault ever occurred.
Despite the acquittal, Adams maintained she told the truth on the stand, writing in a post-verdict statement, “I went to trial. Took the stand. I told my truth.” She also alleged Diggs offered her $100,000 to recant her allegations, stating, “He tried to make me sign an NDA… and no amount of money would make me lie.”
Now Adams appears to be taking aim at Cardi B. The Grammy-winning rapper and Diggs went public as a couple in May 2025, welcomed a baby boy together in November 2025, and later split in February 2026. In her social media post, Adams wrote directly to the rapper: “Cardi You know I didn’t lie, You know exactly who he really is. he did it to you.” She also claimed to have previously apologized to Cardi over how “he treated” her during pregnancy, adding that alleged messages between them “proves that.”
Adams closed with a pointed observation about the broader pattern: “A man at war with himself will hurt others. It’s a losing battle, and women are just collateral damage.” She ended by declaring, “I’m not speaking on this anymore, so kindly don’t speak on me.”
The NFL has said the matter remains under review of its personal conduct policy.
